Enjoy A day At Tingley Beach

Spend a day of fishing, boating, picnics and hiking at Tingley Beach in Albuquerque.

Fishing

Cast a line at Tingley Beach! Located adjacent to the Rio Grande Bosque, the beach offers 3 fishing ponds that are open to the public and free of charge. All fishers are required to have a New Mexico fishing license.

Tingley Beach offers fishing to all ages and abilities.

Fly fishers can enjoy the Bob Gerding Catch and Release Pond, stocked once per year with large rainbow trout.

Anglers of any age can fish with baits or lures in Central Pond. Catch rainbow trout in cooler months and channel catfish in the warmer months.

Boating

During warm-weather months, Tingley Beach rents Pedal Boats. Both two-seat and four-seat craft are available for friends and family to get out and experience the calm waters of the Central Pond.

Walking and Running

Take a leisurely walk or go on a run near a tranquil pond at Tingley Beach. The beach is a safe and beautiful location for strolling or exercising. Tingley is open to dogs as well so bring along your furry friend!
