Breweries To Tour In Albuquerque

Did you know New Mexico is 12th in the country for breweries per capita?

Here’s some of our favorites for you to visit while you’re in Albuquerque.

Breweries To Visit In Albuquerque

Red Door Brewing Company

1001 Candeleria Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107
Website

In 2014, five friends opened a small brewery with the intent of using beer to create a sense of community, and in the years that have passed, they’ve succeeded.  With long hours (including breakfast!) to accommodate all schedules and gluten-free offerings for people with health concerns, everyone can indulge at Red Door.  Take a tour of the facility, then sit down for a drink while you play video games and chat with the locals.  Within minutes, you’ll feel like one of the gang!

High And Dry Brewing

529 Adams St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108
Website

Focused on small-batch beers, this family-founded brewery focuses on flavor rather than trends.  Everyone can find a new favorite beer here, and enjoy it with one of the various food trucks that always seem to be present in the parking lot.  After seeing how their beer is made, relax on the patio with a drink and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Starr Brothers Brewing Company

5700 San Antonio Dr NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109
Website

Another family-owned brewery, Starr Brothers likes to push the envelope on beer.  Bloodshot, a blood orange ale, is an amazing example of how new flavors can be integrated to take a classic to the next level.  Pair it with their fish tacos and you have the perfect meal while you watch a game on their big flat-screen televisions.

Bombs Away Beer

9801 Acoma Rd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87123

Actuator IPA Now pouring from the taps!

The utilitarian appearance of the warehouse that houses veteran-owned Bombs Away Beer keeps the focus where it belongs – on the drink in front of you.  The brews themselves are simple, well-done, and truly bring out the hops and other classic elements.  A glass of the Dunkelweizen evokes notes of spice and banana, and pairs perfectly with a soft pretzel or their roast beef sandwich.  Truly, the beauty of Bombs Away is in the very simplicity.

Check out the amazing breweries in the Albuquerque area and enjoy some hoppy beverages while you’re in town!
